Sat 20th June British Youth & Junior League National Round 2 Norwich

Astley & Tyldesley's young riders enjoyed a successful day's racing at Norwich on Saturday. A&T took a second successive third place finish in the British Youth & Junior League national round match, again behind Poole and Kesgrave.

Best performer for A&T was Emily Burgess, who rode to a superb 16 points maximum score in the Girls match. In the Grand Prix 'A' Final, she came second, after drawing an outside grid against her main rival, Macie Schmidt, of Poole, who took the race win. Chloe Warn continued her progress with a 9 points haul and 4th place in the 'C' Final. In the u-14s match, John White scored 14 in the qualifiers and finished 4th in the 'A' Final, whilst Charlie Burgess scored 7 and was placed as winner of the 'D' Final. Duncan Whalley scored 10 points in the u-12 match and finished 2nd in the 'C' Final.

In the Little League match, Frank White raced to a superb 16 points maximum in the qualifying heats and took his second u-8 Grand Prix 'A' Final win of the series. Team mate Stephen Warn scored 8 points and won the 'B' Final.
