The World Championship racing switched to Poczesna on Tuesday, with the staging of the first three Open Individual eliminators, with the top nine riders progressing to the Quarter Finals, along with the next three highest scorers from the five eliminators. The other riders go into two Repechage matches. A&T's Kamil Bielica scored 16 in the second match, to progress comfortably. After a grand opening World Cup ceremony, four teams lined up for the World Cup Eliminator, with the top three teams qualifying to meet the holders, Australia. A shadow Poland team ran out winners, on 63, ahead of Wales on 54 and England on 49. Ireland were eliminated after scoring 28. For Poland, Kamil Bielica scored 2 points from reserve, with former A&T rider Piotr Jamroszczyk scoring 18. Another former A&T rider, Adam Watson, scored 5 for England. |
