A&T had three riders in action at the 4th and final North Regional Round of the British Youth & Junior League and Little League series, at Sheffield on Saturday, and all three turned in excellent performances. Alex Lawless scored 12 points in the u-8 qualifying heats before finishing 3rd in the u-8 Grand Prix 'A' Final. Frank White extended his two years unbeaten run at age category racing by scoring a 16 points maximum in the u-10 heats and winning the u-10 Grand Prix 'A' Final. Duncan Whalley also raced unbeaten in the u-14 qualifying heats, before winning the u-14 Grand Prix 'A' Final. Little League match score: Sheffield 72 Astley & Tyldesley 28 Hull 24 Bury 16. British Youth & Junior League match score: Sheffield 84 Hull 32 Astley & Tyldesley 16 Bury 12. Little League North Regional Series final positions Sheffield 14 Astley & Tyldesley 9 Bury 7 Hull 6. British Youth & Junior League North Regional Series final positions Sheffield 13 Astley & Tyldesley 12 Hull 10.5 Bury 4.5. Top two teams from each Region qualify for the National Round at East Park (Wolverhampton) on Saturday 18th September. |
