Astley & Tyldesley held Round 2 of the A&T Go-Ride League at Gin Pit, on Tuesday evening. A terrific turn out of 26 riders (up from 19 in the 1st Round) contested 28 heats of racing. A heavy shower of rain during the later stages of the meeting didn't the youngsters enthusiasm from a great evening's racing. The ladder format was used, with the final placings and scores determined by the riders' positions in the final round of races. Duncan Whalley took the main final victory, ahead of Frank White, David Hamilton and Kieran Fallon. Gin Pit Storm took the team win, in this 2nd round of the six round series.
