Astley & Tyldesley raced to a convincing win in Round 3 of the Northern Fours League series at Stockport, on Sunday. All four A&T riders won races, as the team finished 12 points clear of runners-up Stockport. Reece Pollitt raced to a superb 16 points maximum score, with Pawel Idziorek losing just once, Steve Harris twice and Joel Partington weighing in with solid support. A&T were one point clear of Stockport at the interval, but a strong second half performance, dropping just two points, saw them pull away to clinch victory with two races remaining. Sheffield pipped Hull by a single point, with A&T third. Duncan Whalley rode to a 16 points maximum score in the u-16 event, whilst Josh Pilkington finished 2nd in the u-10 category.
