Astley & Tyldesley wrapped up this year's Tuesday club night sessions with the last two rounds of the Ladder Individual series. 10 riders contested Round 3 of the Senior event, on 18th October. Steve Harris took the win, ahead of Charlie Burgess and Caspar Ellis. The Junior event saw 15 riders take to the track. Alex Lawless raced to victory on the night, heading home Thomas Smith, Jasmine Lawless and Ted Woods. The attendance for Round 4, on 25th October, was reduced, with several people away during the schools half term holiday. 9 riders competed in the Junior event. Thomas Smith won every race, to not only win on the night, but also to clinch the overall Junior series. Elijah Rechembei finished runner-up, ahead of Alex Lawless and Ted Woods. With only four starters for the Senior event, that was cancelled, leaving Steve Harris to finish as top scorer from the two rounds ridden (Round 1 was rained off). |
