Astley & Tyldesley hosted Round 4 of the 2023 Manchester League series at Gin Pit on Wednesday evening. It was a bright sunny evening, on the longest day of the year. Despite torrential rain the previous day, the track was watered several times on the night. In the Division 2 match, Bury's Bobby Dunphy and A&T's Alex Lawless both raced unbeaten in the u-10s match. In the other categories, three riders continued their unbeaten runs - Bury's Jayden Hancock (u-13) and Tom Dunphy (u-16), with Owen Simcock of A&T having his score adjusted to 16, by virtue of being the only u-19 rider present. Defending champions Astley & Tyldesley took the team win on the night, for the fourth successive round.
