Astley & Tyldesley hosted the 6th and final round of the A&T Go-Ride League, as part of British Cycling's Summer of Cycling events, at Gin Pit on Tuesday evening. 15 riders turned out, five riders for each of the three teams in the match. Astley Hurricanes narrowly defeated Tyldesley Typhoons on the night, to take the overall series win by half a match point, from the Typhoons, with Gin Pit Storm third. In the Individual series, Oscar Belt took the win on the night, to secure the overall series win. Josh Pilkington was runner-up on the night, with Nahom Tumizghy third. In the overall series placings, Levi Edwards finished in second place, with Alex Lawless third. We welcomed Francis and Joy from British Cycling's Media team, who filmed the racing and interviewed riders and officials, to go into a video of British Cycling's Summer of Cycling events.
