It was a depleted A&T squad of just four riders who travelled to Sheffield for Round 5 of the Northern Fours & Junior League series, at The Graves Centre.
Amazingly, the four riders took second
place on the day in the Northern Junior League match. Alex Lawless
was the top scoring u-10 rider, with Oscar Belt finishing third in
the u-13 category. Alex finished 4th in the 'B' Final, ahead of
three u-13 riders in the final standings. Hull took the win on the
day, to draw level on match points with A&T, with one round to go.
So, whoever wins out of A&T and Hull at Bury next Sunday will win
the Junior League title. If it's a draw, then Hull will win, due to
their superior race points tally.

A&T's four youngsters made up the team
to contest the Northern Fours League match. With Stockport having
pulled out, A&T finished in 5th place on the day. Sheffield took the
win from Bury, to set up a last round decider for the overall title.
