Wed 19th June Manchester League GP Round 4 Bury

Bury staged Round 4 of the Manchester League Grand Prix series, on a warm and sunny Wednesday evening.

Nine riders competed in the Division 1 match. Adam Watson, riding as an independent, raced unbeaten, with Stockport's Terry Norman losing only to Adam in heat 4. Bury's Tom Dunphy lost only to team mate Eryk Motala in heat 10. Defending Division 1 Champions, Bury, took the team win, to remain unbeaten in this year's series.

The Division 2 (Youth & Junior) match was run on a mini-ladder format, again contested by seven riders. A&T's Oscar Belt took his second successive win in the 'A' final race, passing Bury's Owen Simcock, with A&T's Levi Edwards 3rd and Bury's Bobby Dunphy 4th. Defending Division 2 Champions, Astley & Tyldesley, took their fourth team win of the series.
