Astley & Tyldesley are the 2024 Northern Junior League Champions! Team Green took a narrow 3 points win over Hull in the 6th and final round of the series in wet and windy conditions at Bury today. Once again Hull held a numerical advantage, but the nine A&T riders outscored the ten Hull riders on the day. Special mention goes to new riders Riley Candy, Jack Challinor and Billy Johnson, whose collective score of 30 points supported the high scores of the regular riders and sealed the win. Alex Lawless top scored for A&T with 15 points in the u-10 category. This also clinched the u-10 Grand Prix series win for Alex. The title outcome went to a last heat decider, with Hull's Lewis Foxley beating Bury's Danny Taylor. This ensured that Bury and Sheffield drew the match on the day, with Sheffield taking the overall series win by half a match point!
