Astley & Tyldesley hosted the Manchester League Senior Individual at Gin Pit on Wednesday evening. Temperatures dropped slightly after a scorching hot day, with track conditions dry and dusty. Bury's Reece Pollitt raced to a maximum score to win the title for the fourth successive year. Sheffield's Pawel Idziorek was his nearest challenger, with Pollitt winning a closely fought race in heat 4., that proved decisive. Bury's Mike Baldock completed the rostrum places, losing only to the top two. Fastest time was 44.35 seconds by Reece Pollitt in heat 8.
