The Astley & Tyldesley Cycle Speedway Club have received a New Year boost. The Association of Gt. Manchester Authorities (AGMA) have awarded the club a grant of £1150, to assist with the promotional costs of staging the 2003 World Cycle Speedway Championships, which are taking place at Astley & Tyldesley and Bury on 1st - 3rd August. Club Secretary Mike Hack is delighted with the award, which follows on from a grant from Wigan Council, to greatly assist the club with the promotion of the Championships. |
