15 years old Warren Mee turned in
the best performance of his career to date, by winning the prestigious
Chairman's Cup Individual meeting at Bury on Saturday. The Astley &
Tyldesley racer dropped just one point from his five races to finish with a
total of 19 points and take the winner's cup, one point ahead of home rider
Chris Parish. Ewan Tulloch of Scotia / A & T finished with 17 points and won
a three rider run-off to take third place overall. A & T's other
representative, veteran Mike Hack scored 13 points.
