Astley & Tyldesley Cycle Speedway Club, in conjunction with the Mid-Lancs BMX Club, are staging a BMX/Speedway Go-Race event this Sunday, 25th February. The event is open to all registered BMX riders, who will race on their BMX bikes on the cycle speedway track at Gin Pit. Last year's event proved to be hugely popular with the BMX riders, and they have been badgering the event organiser, Simon Barber, to arrange another one. As was the case last year, proceeds from the event will be donated to charity.

Registration starts at 3 pm, with the racing to start at 4 pm, on conclusion of the A & T Cycle Speedway squad's training session.
