Astley & Tyldesley's Adam Phillips is the new British U-13 Individual Champion!
He took the title in fine style on the small East Newport circuit in South Wales
on Saturday, finishing two points clear of runner-up, Will Tidball, of Exeter,
who beat Stockport's Matt Turner in a run-off for second place. Adam took a
second place off grid 4 in his first race, finishing behind Turner. He won all
his remaining four races after that, to win the British title in convincing
style, with a total score of 19 points.
