Astley & Tyldesley's youngsters again shone in the 4th Northern
Regional Qualifying Round of the British Youth & Junior League
series at Heckmondwike on Saturday.
First year rider Thomas Whitwam won the U-8 category and he has
won every race in all four regional rounds of this competition.
This puts him on 100 Grand Prix points and in a strong position
for the four national rounds later this summer. Adam Turnbull
also raced unbeaten in the U-10 category, scoring 16 points in
the qualifiers and taking 25 points in the GP Final. Max Evans
scored 12 points in the qualifiers and took 3rd place in the GP
Final.
Congratulations and good luck to all three riders, who have
qualified for the four national rounds with high scores from the
four regional rounds.
