The
Astley & Tyldesley Cycling Club was well represented at the British Cycling
Awards, at the Vox Conference Centre, Solihull, on Saturday.
John White (U12 Boys British Champion) and Emily Burgess (U14 Girls and U16
Girls British Champion) received their awards at the afternoon ceremony. Due
recognition for amazing achievements from two fantastic role models for our
young riders.
The conclusion of the Evening Dinner saw Club Secretary Mike Hack presented
with the Dave Saunders Memorial trophy, for services to cycling. This is
British Cycling's top award and the recipient of this special award is
selected by the British Cycling Board of Directors.
