A&T took 2nd place in the final North Regional Round of the British Youth & Junior League series at Sheffield, on Saturday. However, this wasn't enough to qualify for the National rounds later this summer. Sheffield's win leapfrogged them into 1st place in the final table, on 13 points, with Bury and A&T both on 12, but Bury going through on a higher race points total. Despite this disappointment, 11 A&T riders have qualified as individuals for their respective age category grand prix events. On the day, Frank White had his best match to date, dropping just one point in the u-8 qualifiers, with Jack Murray also qualifying for his Grand Prix 'A' Final, after scoring 13 in the u-10 qualifiers. John White scored a 16 points maximum and won the u-10s Grand Prix Final, with Matt Snell winning the u-14s Grand Prix Final.
