Astley & Tyldesley made the short trip to Stockport for Round 5 of the Northern Fours and Junior League series. A weakened A&T side finished 5th out of 6 teams in the Fours League match, with Ciaran Collins winning two races. However, A&T moved above Heckmondwike into 4th place in the table, with one round remaining. Northern Fours League match result: Stockport 55 Hull 48 Bury Comets 40 Bury Meteors 39 Astley & Tyldesley 26 Heckmondwike 22 A&T scorers: Ciaran Collins 11, Lee Phillips 9, Emily Burgess 6. A&T's juniors took 2nd place in the Junior League match, to remain in 2nd place, behind Bury, in the league table. John White raced to a 16 points maximum score in the u-10s category, to remain unbeaten in the u-10s Grand Prix series. Team mate Jack Murray scored an impressive 14, losing only to John. Emily Burgess and Ciaran Collins both finished in 2nd place in the u-13 and u-16 categories respectively, after both scored an impressive 14 points.
