Astley & Tyldesley staged Round 3 of the A&T Go-Ride series, on the hottest day of the year, on Tuesday. Each round has a different theme this year. Round 3 featured a team match, using a special race formula, with riders graded according to age, ability and experience. The scores were level after fourteen heats, but remarkably, Team Green scored 7-3 heat wins in each of the last four races, to beat Team Black, 96-80. Emily Burgess raced unbeaten for Team Green, with several new riders and members of the Bolton Hot Wheels club taking part.
