Astley & Tyldesley riders were in action at Bury, for the final round of the Northern Fours and Junior League series, on Sunday. A&T put in a great display in the Fours League match, to take 2nd place, just two points behind Bury Comets. Reece Pollitt rode to a 16 points maximum score, with excellent support from Max Evans and Ciaran Collins and a steady showing from Mark Grantham. However, the Individual Grand Prix titles were up for grabs. A&T's John White rode to a 16 points maximum to seal the u-10 GP series, with Nathan Holt also riding to a 16 points maximum in the u-10 match. Matt Snell lost only to Emily Burgess in the u-13 match, with Emily's 12 points securing a 3rd place finish in the u-13 GP series. Ciaran Collins suffered a gate exclusion second time out, but a 2nd place in his last race was sufficient for him to win the u-16 GP series by a single point. Reece Pollitt raced unbeaten in the u-19 match, to finish 2nd overall in the u-19 GP series.
